Conservatorships

A conservator is someone who oversees financial matters

This role handles the financial issues of individuals who cannot manage their finances. As a Minnesota conservator, Navigator Fiduciary assumes significant responsibilities over all of the Person Subject to Conservatorship's (PSC) assets, including financial management, bill payment, asset management and preservation, and the protection of financial resources from misuse or exploitation.

When do you need a conservator?

Sharing your love and care with an aging parent or special needs family member brings numerous benefits. Spending time together allows you to help create lasting memories and express your gratitude for all they have done. Managing bill payments, asset management, and protection of financial resources are accounting issues that subtract from that time. Engaging Navigator Fiduciary as a conservator lets you focus on what matters.

Your dedicated Client Advocate

Navigator Fiduciary has a team of experienced accounting professionals regularly serving as conservators. As part of our conservatorship services, we assign a dedicated Client Advocate to each client who serves as the main point of contact. We regularly update family members and other relevant parties regarding the client's funds.

Your family and resource connection

Our team takes its responsibilities seriously to preserve our clients' funds for their care. In addition, we can also act as guardians to provide physical support for our clients. If the family wishes, we can serve as both conservator and guardian while allowing family members to be involved in the decision-making process.
