Health Care Agent

Most of us want to make our own decisions about medical care. That may be impossible for aging parents and loved ones with special needs. That’s where a health care agent comes in. A health care agent is a person who makes health care decisions for someone who cannot make these decisions for themselves.

As your health care agent, we can be counted on to discuss difficult decisions. We will also ask doctors many questions and push hard for what the supported person wants. Family desires at the last moment can prolong lives beyond the wishes of the intended. We need to ensure everyone knows and adheres to the needs of those with a plan.
